9/12 Challenge 2019
Twenty international teams competed in the Cyber 9/12 Strategy Challenge 2020, including five teams from ETH Zurich. In an unprecedented winning streak, the ETH Zurich teams not only took the top five places, but also won all the special prizes. The thorough preparation by the student organisation Cyber Group was one of the reasons for their success.

We are a recently founded student initiative at ETH Zurich. Our main goal is to support student groups participating in the “Cyber 9/12 Strategy Challenge” by providing them not only with appropriate training but also with funding and overall support during the event. Other than that we have a variety of “Open Port” events during which renowned cyber security experts will come to ETH to discuss the current state of their field with a small group of students.
Our main event is the Cyber Challenge in Geneva . The Cyber 9/12 Strategy Challenge is an annual cyber policy competition for students across the globe to compete in developing national security policy recommendations tackling a fictional cyber incident.
